Downtown Tehachapi is a mixture of both old and new
buildings, homes, warehouses, apartments, parks, an
Airport, a Glider Port, our High School, Junior High,
Hospital, Senior Center, Sherrif's Station, City Hall,
and a bustling commericial area offering various retail
and restaurant establishments.
Closer to Downtown you'll find the older, established
neighborhoods. Higher up - off Curry Street you'll find
several new tracts - including the beautiful 'Heritage
Oaks' tracts - both the "East" and the "West"
